Will the refinisher need to access any utilities while the work is being performed?
- Running water is essential for many steps in the resurfacing process
- Electricity will be required to power equipment
- Room-temperature is important for the products to spray and cure properly. Low temperature room could making curing times longer and warmer room could dry to quickly.
- Be sure to clear all items from the surface area to be refurbished
Can other construction work take place during the refurbishment?
It is important that the resurfacing area be as clean and dust free as possible. We do not recommend having other construction work on going as this can create dust and make the surface uneven
Can i remain in the property during the refurbishment?
We recommend that all residents and pets vacate the property during the process, or atleast do not enter the area where the work is taking place.
What cleaners should be used on the surface
Use non-abrasive cleaners only. or just normal soap and water. rinse thoroughly and do not leave any residue on the surface
What precautions should be taken after the resurfacing process?
- DO NOT cut directly onto the surface, always use a chopping board
- DO NOT place hot pots or pans directly onto the surface
- DO NOT use Solvents or dyes on the surface as this could stain
- DO NOT use scouring pads to clean the surface
